I used to bike past LloydHQ when Oostelijke Handelskade was still lined with fragrant cacao warehouses and the Lloyd Hotel was a creepy juvenile prison. Pretty scary stuff. Then one day the boys from SCEP asked me to look at a space they wanted to share . When we walked inside, all I could say was, \'Wow!\' Working at LloydHQ has literally changed my life. LloydHQ means the time and solitude to create ideas, write fiction, biography, and promotional texts. In my LloydHQ space, Dara\'s Dames get together for our monthly playgroup. Democrats Abroad Netherlands meet. We sing and dance during theater workshops. Meet with the LloydHQ board to discuss our building\'s future. And get a bit wild during yet another fun borrel. And what could be nicer than ready access to all types of creative souls and good advice - whenever I need it (which is often). Thanks LloydHQ, and everyone in you!
